The 2025/26 Serie A championship will officially begin on Sunday, August 24, 2025, with some early matches scheduled for Saturday, August 23.
The early matches of the first matchday will therefore be played on Saturday the 23rd, while the rest of the matches are scheduled for Sunday the 24th.
The FIGC has announced that the official times for the early and late matches of the first matchday will be communicated on June 16, 2025.
What is certain, for now, is that the first matchday will see highly anticipated clashes such as Roma–Bologna, Juventus–Parma, and Inter–Torino.
This season also marks the return to Serie A of Sassuolo, Pisa, and Cremonese, replacing the relegated Empoli, Venezia, and Monza.
